Sylvania Heights Football Club would like to extend an invitation to your Club to participate in our 28th Annual Under 8's Gala Day. This event is open to all Under 8 sides of any grade and will be held on Sunday 13 Aug 2023 at the Sylvania Heights fields at Box Road Reserve, Sylvania. The day (first games) will commence at 9.00 am. The entry fee is $200.00 per team and payment should only be made ONCE CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION is received from the Gala Day Entries Co-ord – payments to be made to:

Please identify teams and Clubs with payment so we can match up entry fees.
As with previous years we plan to hold 3 Cup Competitions on the day – the Presidents Cup for A and B grade teams, the Treleaven Cup for C grade and below teams and the Hatton Cup for 'girls only' teams (all grades welcome). We need to restrict the maximum number of teams to 30 (10 for each Competition) for the amenity of players and parents alike. Game rules for the day follow the SSG rules for U8's. All players must have played in the SSFA winter competition in a U8 team or lower, ie a player who is age appropriate, but is playing in the U9/10 SSFA Comp is NOT eligible to compete in the Gala Day. Registration of names on the day is not necessary.
All players will receive a medallion on the day and those making it through to their respective final will also receive a trophy. There will be full Canteen and BBQ facilities run by the Sylvania Heights Football Club on the day.
In the case of rain we will notify Club Secretaries of the next best available date for the Gala Day.
